Previously out-and-about as a rather hard-to-find white label, this 12″ from the Cow shed is repressed and re-labeled, confirming it as being related to the other 12″s on the Los Angeles ‘label’, ostensibly the Idjut Boys and J-Disco edits. The A-side is a brisk, thumping remix of Prince’s “Kiss” by Perlon’s Markus Nikolai (he of “Bushes” fame), which makes no bones of its sheer dancefloor power. The flip features Headinghome’s Hawkeye doing a spot of bleepy business on “Born” and a very handy re-edit of the Italo cover of the Blade Runner theme by Hipnosis / Hypnosis.
